ALSA is a social development company and leading provider of quality, affordable, energy-efficient housing in South Africa, operating primarily in the low to medium-income brackets. ALSA has the financial advantage of access to cheaper mortgages and soft loans for environmentally sustainable, economically viable and socially responsible projects.

ALSA was set up to deliver on the goals identified in the MoU signed between the Dutch and South African Ministry of Housing.

ALSA also has the technical advantage of being a sister company to both Teamwork Technology BV and Kernbeek Project Development, from which it sources leading edge expertise in renewable energy solutions, and expertise in social housing development (in which the Netherlands has long been a recognised leader).
